  1. Visual Inspection - Appliance, plug and lead checked for damage
  2. Open Every Plug - Unless sealed, we open it. Check wiring is correct
  3. Check Every Fuse - Fuse rating checked and replaced if incorrect
  4. Tighten Every Screw Terminal - Loose terminals cause fires
  5. Tighten Cord Grip
  6. Check Lead For Damage
  7. Test Continuity of Protective Earth - Class 1
    appliances
  8. Test Insulation and Leakage
  9. Load Test
  10. Record All Results Digitally Including Values
  11. E-mail Results and Certificate Within 12
    Hours

All work follows: Health & Safety at Work Act 1974, Electricity at Work Regulations 1989, Workplace Regulations 1992, PUWER 1998, Management of Health & Safety at Work Regulations 1999.
